Preparing For Concealed Carry

In just a week, Wisconsin will be the 49th state to implement a concealed carry law. On Tuesday, the law takes effect. Law enforcement agencies have had a few months to prepare, but they say it's still a work in progress.

What You Need to Know About Concealed Carry

Police have been preparing for months. Officers in Green Bay expect enforcing the new concealed carry law to be a smooth process. "The officers are going to operate the way they do now and prepare for any situation that's given to them," explained Lt. Kevin Warych. Unlike other states with concealed carry laws, Lt. Warych said permit holders in Wisconsin do not have to tell officers who pull them over if they have a weapon.

FDIC Selling Off Legacy Bank Mortgages

In an effort to recover some of the money the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. expensed when it became the receiver of Legacy Bank, the FDIC is seeking bids for delinquent home mortgages from the bank valued at $16 million.
