Help protect our priceless waters

A Journal Sentinel editorial recently called attention to three pieces of federal legislation that will influence the fate of the Great Lakes (“Great Lakes deserve equally great protection,” Sept. 21). One of those, the Great Lakes compact, has passed the House and been signed into law by President Bush. That’s good news for those of us who live, work and play here in the Lake Michigan basin.
