Join Davis|Kuelthau’s Labor and Employment team as they present to members of Green Bay Chapter SHRM on Wednesday, September 12, 2018. Their presentations will provide a comprehensive update on new developments in the law including recent court decisions, new statutes, as well as new guidelines governing harassment in the workplace in light of the #metoo movement.
James Kalny, Chair of the Labor and Employment team, will be presenting, General ADA/FMLA/WC. His topic will provide an overview of the legal obligations and the interaction of workplace regulations concerning employee injuries, leaves and more.
Labor and Employment attorney, Bob Burns will be presenting, What does At Will Mean – Can I Terminate? In this session, Bob will discuss the most common exceptions to the “at will” doctrine, and address how an employer may avoid unnecessary dilemmas.
Labor and Employment and Litigation Attorney, Tony Steffek will be presenting, “Me too” / Sexual Harassment. His session will discuss the new rules governing harassment in the workplace, guidelines for investigating harassment claims, and will review new harassment regulations which will have an impact on severance agreements.
Additionally, the attorneys will participate in a panel discussion designed to answer attendees questions related to various areas of labor law.
