Their presentations will provide a comprehensive update on new developments in the law including, workplace discrimination, new statutes, as well as trends based on the #metoo movement, and EEOC enforcement statistics.
James Kalny, Chair of the Labor and Employment team, along with labor and employment team member Bruce Deadman, will be presenting, Supervisors – How they can expose you to liability. Their topic will address the top ways supervisors open a company to liability, including who is a supervisor and what topics they should be trained on.
Labor and Employment attorney, Bob Burns will be presenting, Advanced ADA/FMLA In this session, Bob will discuss ADA and FMLA, as well as other leave laws, including overlapping leave obligations, complex employee leave and return to work situations, and some of the more complicated administrative issues resulting from an employer’s obligations under these laws.
Labor and Employment and Litigation Attorney, Tony Steffek will be presenting, Discrimination in the Workplace. His session will address the different types of discrimination in the workplace including: arrest/conviction records, religious accommodations and LGBT issues.
Labor and Employment Attorney, Abby Busler will be presenting, ‘Sexual Harassment’. Specifically, she will address the trends surrounding the #metoo movement, training requirements and enforcement statistics from the EEOC.
