Davis & Kuelthau construction and litigation attorney, Brian Pfeil has been invited to speak at the 32nd Annual DBE Workshop and Secretary’s Golden Shovel Awards. His discussion, Who Has the Liability?, will provide insight on how project managers can effectively safeguard their companies prior to the start of projects, how best to open the lines of communication when project issues arise, and how to properly document matters likely to be called into question.
The 32nd Annual DBE Workshop and Secretary’s Golden Shovel Awards will take place on February 13th and February 14th. This two-day conference is hosted by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation and the National Association of Minority Contractors and is held in collaboration with Wisconsin DBE Unified Certification Program Partners: City of Madison, Dane County and Milwaukee County. Attendees include small, minority, women-owned businesses, prime/general contractors, architect-engineers, construction industry suppliers/vendors, small business advocates and other businesses within the transportation construction industry.
