GREEN BAY – Davis & Kuelthau is proud to announce Labor & Employment attorney Bruce B. Deadman is this year’s recipient of the Wisconsin Lawyers Assistance Program (WisLAP) Volunteer of the Year Award. This award honors various legal practitioners who have provided meaningful assistance, educational outreach or other volunteer service through the program.
WisLAP provides educational training programs addressing addiction, stress, depression, and other mental health issues. Candidates are referred to a trained peer who has committed time to assist struggling professionals.
As an attorney, Bruce’s practice focuses on labor, employment, and compensation-related issues. He spends most of his time helping clients work through the morass of employment laws and regulations. He also represents employers in labor negotiations, discrimination defense, disability and ADA issues, wrongful discharge or employment contract disputes, wage and hour problems, non-compete issues and other sensitive personnel transactions.
His award was presented during the Member Recognition and Networking Event, in conjunction with the State Bar Annual Meeting & Conference on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.
