MILWAUKEE – Davis & Kuelthau, s.c. is pleased to announce attorney Laurie E. Meyer has joined the firm’s Labor & Employment Team as a shareholder in its Milwaukee office.
Laurie concentrates her practice on employment law. She investigates and defends claims alleging all types of discrimination as well as harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour violations, and denial of medical leave or disability accommodations. She also counsels business employers on employment relationships and the appropriate course for avoiding claims or successfully defending claims if litigation is unavoidable.

Laurie earned her Juris Doctorate from Marquette University Law School and her Bachelor of Arts from Carroll College. In addition to Laurie’s professional memberships with the State Bar of Wisconsin and Milwaukee Bar Association, she is an active member of the Defense Research Institute (DRI), where she serves as a member of the Publications Board, and also as the Publications Chair for the Employment and Labor Law Steering Committee. Prior to joining Davis & Kuelthau, Laurie practiced labor and employment law and appellate and civil litigation at Borgelt, Powell, Peterson & Frauen, S.C.
