
MILWAUKEE, WI – Davis|Kuelthau attorney Peter Bruce has been a long-time leader in the Milwaukee philanthropic community including serving as co-chair of the Greater Milwaukee Foundation (GMF) since 2012. On March 4, GMF announced the $700 million Greater Together Campaign which will give the Milwaukee community new opportunities for generational impact and growth. Peter is one of four Milwaukee area philanthropists serving as co-chair on the Greater Together Campaign Committee.
Peter’s many philanthropic contributions to nonprofits in Southeastern Wisconsin span over 10 years. With such a rich history of dedication to the community, Peter was honored by GMF as the 2020 Herbert J. Mueller Outstanding Professional Adviser of the Year. Peter was also honored with the Evan P. Helfaer Donor Award in 2019 by the Association of Fundraising Professionals. He was nominated by Alverno College and GMF.
Since September of 2007, Peter has been an of counsel member of Davis|Kuelthau. The firm has provided a supportive platform for his continued civic work and for his service as guardian ad litem in Milwaukee County Children’s Court for children in the foster system and as a volunteer lawyer with the Legal Aid Society of Milwaukee.
