Attorney Peter Bruce Honored for Philanthropic Efforts by Greater Milwaukee Foundation

MILWAUKEE, WI – Davis|Kuelthau attorney Peter Bruce, was recognized by the Greater Milwaukee Foundation (GMF) as the 2020 Herbert J. Mueller Outstanding Professional Adviser of the Year. Today, the GMF released a tribute video recognizing his passionate service to the community.

Membership within the Herbert J. Mueller Society is dedicated to those who excel in helping their clients connect with the organization to create charitable legacies. Each year the GMF honors a professional advisor for their exceptional commitment to the Foundation and the nonprofit community.

Peter’s many philanthropic contributions to nonprofits in Southeastern Wisconsin span over 10 years. With such a rich history of dedication to the GMF, several friends and colleagues gathered virtually to celebrate his success. Peter was also honored the Evan P. Helfaer Donor Award in 2019 by the Association of Fundraising Professionals. He was nominated by Alverno College and the GMF.

Since September of 2007, Peter has been an of counsel member of Davis|Kuelthau. The firm has provided a supportive platform for his continued civic work and for his service as guardian ad litem in Milwaukee County Children’s Court for children in the foster system and as a volunteer lawyer with the Legal Aid Society of Milwaukee.
