APPLETON, GREEN BAY, WI – Davis|Kuelthau is pleased to announce Associate Attorney Ross R. Kornowske has joined the firm’s Corporate Team. His practice primarily focuses on corporate matters, specifically business strategy, commercial real estate transactions, and mergers and acquisitions. Ross is located in our Appleton office serving clients throughout the Fox Valley and greater Green Bay regions.
Ross began his career at Gerbers Law, S.C. before transitioning to an in-house counsel role and serving as a title agent. Prior to joining Davis|Kuelthau, Ross worked as the Managing Partner for his private practice, Kornowske Law, LLC.
As a former in-house attorney, Ross understands the importance of using creative solutions to successfully achieve strategic business objectives for his clients. Ross has experience negotiating, drafting, and reviewing various contracts and other transactional documents, including, but not limited to, employment/consulting agreements, intellectual property license agreements, asset and stock purchase agreements, sales and distribution agreements, various commercial and residential/consumer financing documents on behalf of several financial institutions, including, promissory notes, loan agreements, forbearance agreements, subordination agreements, pledge agreements, guarantees, security agreements, and mortgages.
Ross is actively committed to professional leadership. He currently serves as a member of the Credit Union National Association: Enterprise Risk Management (CUERME), Bank Secrecy Act Compliance (BSACS), and Credit Union Compliance Expert (CUCE).
Ross earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Wisconsin Law School and received his Bachelor of Science degree in both Political Science and Public Administration from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse.
