
APPLETON, GREEN BAY, MILWAUKEE, WI – The Wisconsin law firm of Davis|Kuelthau, s.c. is proud to announce Sherry D. Coley, Commercial and Intellectual Property Litigation Attorney, has been selected as the firm’s new Office Managing Partner for its Appleton and Green Bay offices.
As a Neenah native and an active attorney in Appleton and Green Bay, Sherry is well-suited to succeed Thomas V. Rohan, Corporate and Commercial Finance Attorney, who led the local team for four years and continues to serve D|K’s business and education clients. D|K’s recent expansion in Appleton reflects the firm’s long-standing commitment to the greater Fox Valley and Northeast Wisconsin regions. As the Office Managing Partner, Sherry is tasked with streamlining the corporate, employment, IP, litigation, and estate planning services of our 15 local attorneys along with the skill sets offered through the firm’s three other Wisconsin locations.
Sherry primarily serves businesses in the area of complex business litigation with an emphasis on contract disputes, business torts, financial services litigation, real estate foreclosures and work-outs, and tax assessment appeals. She also has litigated patent, trademark, copyright, unfair competition and trade secret cases in a wide variety of industries. As an esteemed leader, Sherry also serves on Davis|Kuelthau’s Board of Directors, the Phoenix Fund Board of Directors, the Fox Valley Symphony Orchestra Board of Directors and as an elected representative of the State Bar of Wisconsin’s Board of Governors to name a few.
She has been recognized as a Woman in the Law by the Wisconsin Law Journal, a Fellow by the Wisconsin Law Foundation, a Fellow by the American Bar Foundation, a Wisconsin Super Lawyer® Rising Star for seven consecutive years and most recently Super Lawyer® for 2020. Sherry was also the recipient of the 2019 Joyce Bytof Exceptional Mentor Award which recognizes an individual “who is proactive in the advancement of others by sharing time, talent and business experience for the purpose of promoting growth and opportunity in the Fox Cities community”. Sherry earned her Juris Doctorate from Marquette University Law School, and her Bachelor’s degree from Drake University.
