
MILWAUKEE — Davis & Kuelthau, s.c. today announced that Kathy L. Nusslock, Chief Operating Officer and Firm President, is now a member of the UWM’s Graduate School Cabinet. Individuals who are recruited for this role are selected for their interest, influence, affluence, and availability to serve on the committee. The mission of the Graduate School is to maintain its newly appointed status as a top-tier doctoral research university that best suits the needs of their graduate students, postdoctoral scholars and graduate faculty.
In collaboration with other members of the committee, Kathy will advocate and encourage support for Graduate Education within the workplace and with other community organizations. Additionally, they will partner with UWM leadership to develop, solicit and oversee strategies relative to Graduate School programs.
Members of this committee include: Curt Culver of Mortgage Guaranty Insurance Corporation, Daniel Eastman of Titus Energy, Matthew Flynn of Quarles & Brady LLC, Nina V.A. Johnson of Guaranty Bank, Buddy Julius of The Firm Consulting, Richard Larsen a Community Volunteer, Ramona Tenorio of the Medical College of Wisconsin, and Community Volunteers Jerry Vite and Les Weil.
Kathy works in conjunction with the Board of Directors and is responsible for overall management of the firm’s operations, including human resources, facilities management, and oversight of accounting/finance, information technology, and marketing/business development. She has been proudly ranked among Wisconsin’s Super Lawyers® since 2005, honored among the Top 25 Women Attorneys in Wisconsin, by Super Lawyers®, for five terms, and recognized by the Wisconsin Law Journal among their 2013 Women in the Law.
Kathy earned her Juris Doctorate, magna cum laude from Marquette University Law School and her Letters and Science Bachelor of the Arts Degree in Economics from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee.
