MILWAUKEE – Davis & Kuelthau, s.c. is pleased to announce that the Board of Directors has unanimously approved the addition of Patrick M. Bergin and Geoffrey S. Trotier as shareholders of the firm, effective October 1, 2011.

Bergin, a registered patent attorney, assists clients with a broad range of intellectual property issues with an emphasis on domestic and international intellectual property procurement. He earned his J.D. from Marquette University Law School and his undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota. He is a member of the American Intellectual Property Lawyers Association and of the Wisconsin Intellectual Property Lawyers Association.
Trotier advises private companies, municipalities and school districts in labor and employment issues, including resolving and litigating discrimination issues, Family and Medical Leave Act issues, and Wage and Hour disputes; drafting, enforcing and litigating non-compete agreements; advising on issues of reasonable accommodation; and providing training in human resources matters. Trotier earned his J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School and is licensed to practice in Wisconsin and Minnesota.
