Davis & Kuelthau, s.c. held its Annual Public Official Program for veteran and newly-elected public officials.
Our Green Bay and Oshkosh team updated public officials on:
- The status of Act 10, as well as various litigation around the state that deals with a variety of issues arising out of the post-Act 10 era
- Individual employee rights under MERA
- The effect of the pending re-certification elections and other ongoing developments
In addition, other legislation or administrative regulations potentially impacting public entities in Wisconsin, public records and open meeting laws were addressed.
The evening concluded with a question and answer panel of Davis & Kuelthau professionals who collaborated on responses to questions regarding the topics presented, as well as address other issues of interest to public officials.
