Mike Van Someren 2022 BizTimes Rising Star in Law
Mike serves as chair of the firm’s capital markets team and is a member of the real estate, commercial finance, and corporate teams. He counsels clients in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including entity selection and formation, purchase and sale agreements, land use and zoning matters. He always strikes a helpful balance for clients by safeguarding their interests while keeping the overall picture in view to ensure that a small issue does not ruin a large transaction. Mike is highly instrumental in the firm’s corporate associate recruitment and mentoring program as well.
Ryan Spott 2022 BizTimes Rising Star in Law
Ryan serves as a senior associate on the firm’s corporate, real estate, M&A, and capital markets teams. He advises buyers, sellers, lenders, borrowers, tenants, landlords, developers and investors on a wide range of corporate matters, including business formations, acquiring, developing, leasing and selling commercial property, land use and zoning matters, and commercial business transactions. His personable demeanor and straightforward analysis enable him to easily resonate with clients. Beyond his practice, Ryan serves as the first point of introduction for the firm’s recruiting program. He also serves on the firm’s technology committee.
