Family & Closely Held Business Summit 2016

Davis & Kuelthau proudly sponsored BizTimes Media’s Family & Closely Held Business Summit on Thursday, June 2nd.

This forum provided an extensive overview on how to navigate many of the complex issues related to growing a successful and sustainable family and closely held business. Attendees learned from family business owners on a variety of topics ranging from culture, growth, transitioning, sustained success, and legacy. Leaders of local, family and closely held businesses participated in interactive sessions and shared their advice and experiences.

The keynote speaker for this year’s summit was Tom Deans, New York Times best-selling author of Every Family’s Business. Following the speaker was an informative panel discussion featuring family and closely-held business owners featuring: Scott Larson, President/COO of Gustave A. Larson, Deborah Anguil, COO of Anguil Environmental, Eric Olesen, Owner & President of O&H Danish Bakery and Theodore Perlick Molinari, Component Assembly & Brewery Fittings Supervisor of Perlick Corporation. The summit concluded with attendees having the opportunity to select and participate in four out of 20 roundtable discussions covering the core themes gathered from the program: Growth, Leadership & Culture, Next Generation and Legacy.

This event took place at the Italian Conference Center located on 631 E. Chicago Street in Milwaukee on Thursday, June 2 from 7:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
