Health Care Reform: What’s Next? – State Bar of Wisconsin Seminar

Before the Affordable Care Act goes into effect in 2014, Davis & Kuelthau joined members of the State Bar’s Tax Faculty to present a timely discussion addressing the tax issues regarding employee benefits under the ACA. D&K Employee Benefits attorney Kelly S. Kuglitsch participated in a panel discussion titled, “Health Care Reform: What’s Next?” along with panelists, John L. Barlament of Quarles & Brady, and Michael W. Taibleson of Whyte Hirschboek Dudek.

Specifically, the discussion covered following:

  • New taxes imposed on employers under the Affordable Care Act
  • New administrative requirements — such as changes to Form W-2 and a new “marketplace notice”
  • Action steps for large employers which could be subject to the “Pay or Play Rule”

This presentation was hosted at the Radisson Milwaukee West in Milwaukee on November 14, 2013 and will be available via webcast. For more details, please visit the State Bar of Wisconsin Website.
