MILWAUKEE – Davis & Kuelthau, s.c. is pleased to announce that trial attorney Dillon Ambrose has been promoted to the rank of Commander in the United States Navy Reserve as of June 1, 2017. Commander Ambrose is a drilling Reservist in the U.S. Navy Reserve JAG Corps, currently serving his reserve commitment as the Deputy Staff Judge Advocate of the Reserve Component Command Great Lakes.
Dillon joined Davis & Kuelthau in 2011 as a litigation associate and was appointed to shareholder in 2014. He represents clients at every level of litigation over contract matters, construction disputes, employment issues, and property claims. In addition, Dillon serves as the firm’s pro bono coordinator, assisting military service members and veterans with legal needs.
Prior to joining the firm, Dillon served for eight years as a Navy JAG officer, where he handled numerous trial level courts-martial (prosecuting and defending), and represented more than 70 convicted Sailors and Marines in appeals before the Navy-Marine Corps of Criminal Appeals, Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces, and the United States Supreme Court. Thereafter, he clerked for a federal court judge in Washington D.C.
Dillon earned his B.A. from Marquette University and his J.D. cum laude from Marquette University Law School.
