Recognizing the significant hurdles that fellow Wisconsin employers face when trying to fill job openings, Davis & Kuelthau is sponsoring the Milwaukee Business Journal’s Jobs Gap Forum taking place on Tuesday, October 24, 2017.
In an effort to help employers find workers to fill jobs in southeastern Wisconsin, the Milwaukee Business Journal conducted a survey to determine the current agencies and programs in place help reduce the employment gap. The information was compiled into a database that will be published on their website to help job creators, job seekers and organizations. Results from the survey will be revealed during this discussion and will be followed by a discussion with area business leaders to discuss the ways agencies can work together with job seekers and what else can be done to solve this issue as it relates to the impact on the business community.
Panelists will include: Earl Buford, of Employ Milwaukee and Bill Krugler, of Milwaukee JobsWork.
This forum will take place in the Sojourner Family Peace Center located on 619 W Walnut Street, in Milwaukee, WI. Registration and continental breakfast will begin at 7:30 a.m. and the program will run from 8:00 a.m. – 9:15 a.m.
