New Federal Rules of Civil Procedure – State Bar of Wisconsin Seminar

Litigation attorney Sue Schellinger participated in the State Bar of Wisconsin’s seminar on How will the New Federal Rules of Civil Procedure Work and will they Work in Wisconsin? on Thursday, September 8, 2016. Featuring local experts, this seminar provided an in-depth look at how federal discovery practice has changed and explores the possible advantages and drawbacks of adopting the rules in Wisconsin. State civil litigation, employment law attorneys and government lawyers were encouraged to attend.

Sue’s presentation titled, A Civil Justice Perspective: Should Wisconsin State Court Rules of Procedure More Closely Align With the Federal Rules? covered what these new rules might mean from the perspective of an injured plaintiff/consumer in state court.
