Davis & Kuelthau’s Intellectual Property Chair, Joseph Heino, in collaboration with Gateway Technical College, provided an overview on the basics of patenting including: filing for a provisional, the difference between a utility and design patent, how copy-write protection works, and when to file for trademark protection.
