
The State Bar recently published Matthew R. McClean’s article “Indemnity on Offense” in its January 22 Construction & Public Contract Law Blog. The article addresses the various proactive uses of the indemnity clause in commercial contracts and case law surrounding its use.
Matt is a shareholder and serves as chair of the Davis|Kuelthau’s Appellate, Commercial Litigation, and Employment Litigation Practices. He represents clients in all aspects of litigation over commercial contracts, construction disputes, real property claims, and intellectual property matters. Matt helps plaintiffs and defendants achieve desirable results both in and out of court. His primary client base includes small to mid-size businesses, construction companies, and municipalities. He also works with individuals who have contract, construction, and high-fee disputes. Matt earned his J.D., cum laude, from Marquette University Law School in 2002.
