Trusts, Estates and Succession Planning Attorney, Jacqueline Messler will be participating in an informational panel discussion with the Association of General Contractors (AGC) of Greater Milwaukee entitled, Succession Planning: Continuing Your Legacy.
This discussion will address critical questions for business owners to consider when making a transition in their company including:
- What happens to your business when you retire or are no longer able to run the company?
- Is your company in a position to continue without you? How do you choose a credible successor, whether that person is inside or outside the family?
This seminar will cover the foundation needed to begin the process of creating a successful succession plan.
Jacqueline will be joined by Certified Public Accountant, Bob Komisar, Partner with Komisar & Spindler, who will focus on tax implications, business valuation, and lifetime transfers and Certified Business Coach, Kim Palms, of Focal Point Coaching, who will address the human considerations of this decision, as well as identifying the overall succession planning process.
