April 23, 2022

On April 23, 2022, at the Bay-Lakes Convention, Attorney Timothy Feldhausen received the prestigious Silver Beaver Award. Recipients of the Silver Beaver award are registered adult leaders who have made an impact on the lives of youth through service given to the council.

Tim earned his Eagle Scout in 1984 and is a Life Member of the National Eagle Scout Association. In one way or another he has been active in Scouting on and off since he was about 8 years old. He assisted Scouting programs working with other volunteers while teaching at the U.S. Naval Academy between 1995-98 and became involved in Scouting again when his son Josiah became a Scout.  He is currently Vice-President for District Operations at the Bay-Lakes Council and does a number of Scouting activities.

Outside of Scouting, Tim is a Harbor Commissioner for the Port of Green Bay (Brown County).  He also volunteers at the Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help in Champion, Wisconsin and is a board member for the Green Bay Area Catholic High School Foundation and the St. Thomas More Law Society of Green Bay.  He is a former board member for Green Bay Habitat for Humanity. Tim also volunteers teaching sailing merit badge with Green Bay Sail & Paddle.

The Silver Beaver Award was introduced in 1931 by the Boy Scouts of America. The Silver Beaver Award is the highest-level award the Bay-Lakes Council can bestow upon a registered council volunteer.
