Two Davis & Kuelthau Attorneys Honored as “Women in the Law”

MILWAUKEE – The law firm of Davis & Kuelthau, s.c. is pleased to announce that attorneys Kathy L. Nusslock and Susan G. Schellinger were honored by the Wisconsin Law Journal as 2013 Women in the Law honorees. This distinguished award recognizes the outstanding achievement and positive influence of high-level women in the practice of law.

Kathy Nusslock is an experienced litigator and chairs the firm’s Commercial Litigation and Employment Litigation Teams. She leads by example, deftly balancing dedication to the development of young attorneys with skilled management of her own caseload. Kathy is also the Pro Bono Coordinator at the firm, working on several pro bono cases each year and overseeing many more. Kathy’s seasoned experience and dynamic work ethic has led to her success as both a litigator and mentor.

Kathy earned her Juris Doctorate, magna cum laude from Marquette University Law School and her Letters and Science Bachelor of the Arts Degree in Economics from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee.

Sue Schellinger also specializes in litigation. Sue is a member of the firm’s Board of Directors and previously chaired Davis & Kuelthau’s Litigation Team She represents a broad range of clients in state and federal trial and appellate courts, as well as in arbitration and other alternative dispute resolution proceedings. Known for her solution-driven approach, Sue’s dedication to service is a proven asset to the firm’s clients. Her practice focuses on insurance coverage litigation and construction law, as well as lender liability, securities litigation, noncompetition agreements, and trade secrets cases.

Sue earned her Juris Doctorate, magna cum laude from Marquette University Law School and her Bachelor of Science degree, magna cum laude from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside.

A lunch event honoring the Women in the Law was held on June 25, 2013 at The Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee.
